Joe's Barcelona Marathon Challenge

“In a month’s time, on 15th March, I will be taking part in the Barcelona Marathon to raise money for SHARE.

 

In 2017, I had the opportunity to visit The City of Joy orphanage, which provides a safe haven, school, church, and playground for the children of Mazabuka, Zambia. It was an experience that was as uplifting as it was humbling, and I hope to return again one day soon.

 

The money raised will help fund the Porridge Club and The City of Joy, as well as provide scholarships and future opportunities for those leaving the orphanage. Please give whatever you can – just £10 will provide a child with a bowl of porridge for an entire year, often their only meal of the day.”
